Representing AX3, I got a chance to cover Cube Entertainment Auditions and watch KPOP star G.NA perform. It’s interesting because we went to the same high school (Fraser Heights, she graduated 3 years before), so it was great hearing FH alumni doing big things.

The event was pretty crazy, it was a big disorganized but overall a great experience. We met with people with high status in the Korean community and other talented people who are great at what they do. The people who auditioned were picked from 3000 YouTube auditions and had the chance to perform infront of Cube Entertainment scouts.

4 Tips to Stop Your Facebook Addiction
Jan 2011 04

It is without a doubt that Facebook has become one of the most addicting sites in 2010 and will remain there in 2011. Because of this site, most of us have lost productivity checking notifications, writing on people’s walls, tagging pictures, and playing mind-numbing games like Farmville, Mafia Wars, Restaurant City, and Tetris Battle.

Sure it’s a great way to keep in touch, but sometimes we’ve all been up at 1AM creeping a friend’s photo album from 2008. I probably spend at least an hour on Facebook alone, so I’ve decided to cut that time substantially.

The Little Bunny that Lives Under my Shed…
Aug 2010 08

My parents have been spotting this little bunny that runs laps around my yard at random intervals during the day, so today they left a piece of lettuce outside of my shed. Lo and behold, the little guy came out and chomped on the lettuce piece and on some pieces of grass…

The announcement of A Bathing Ape’s newest installment was made around the middle of November, rejoicing fans and expanding the brand’s empire on the East coast (also with the opening of the pirate store in Taiwan shortly after). The newest Bape store is set to open up on December 19 at Mandarin Gallery, a place that is known for its high end retail stores. The picture below is a preview of the store, under construction until the day of opening.

Today, more information regarding the store opening date surfaced, specifically the store opening exclusive t-shirt.

The shirt has the image of a ‘Merlion’, with the words ‘A Bathing Ape’ around it. A Merlion is the national symbol of Singapore, combination of a fish tail (Mer meaning sea) and the head of a lion. The shirt will be retailing at $197 SGD (~$98 CAD) and will be available in all sizes at the date of launch.

In addition to the tee, special Bape Fukubukuro (Lucky Bags) will be available at the new store, retailing at $328 SGD ($250 CAD) each. In each Lucky Bag, there will be 1 Sweatshirt, 2 T-Shirts, and a Bape-themed 2010 calendar; all packed in a Bape bag (no pictures yet, I will keep you posted). Rumours are that the 2 shirts and sweatshirt alone retail at about $657 SGD in total. The Lucky Bags will be available on January 1, 2010 and will be in all sizes.

So yes, for those in Singapore or who know people in Singapore, you or someone you know should stop by the store to get an exclusive tee or even a Lucky Bag! My next wonder is about the city exclusive camo. Nobody has any idea what the city camo colours consist of (red and white maybe?), but I’m hoping it won’t be anything too outrageous.

Thanks to the guys over at SwaggerDap for showing me this, I was truely astonished when I first saw it.

The Fresh Fiends presents a photographed storyline of a group of girls taking care of business, all with the help of shoes. The story is depicted using dark and grungy photos, creating a very grim effect.

“Sometimes boys act up. Typically when they’ve pushed your limits, you take care of the problem as you see fit. The Fresh FIends are resourceful gals…and also happen to have a bit of a shoe fetish. As you can see in the photos, Christian Louboutin provides not only immaculate style, but is also a DAMN good murder weapon. Enjoy.”
